MNCLand.com - PT MNC Land Tbk, held a groundbreaking ceremony to start the construction of Lido Music & Arts Center in MNC Lido City, Greater Jakarta. This proves KPIG's commitment to the development plan of the Special Economic Zone for Tourism (or what is often referred to as the Tourism SEZ) MNC Lido City. As mentioned in the previous release, MNC Lido City has obtained approval from the National Council for Special Economic Zones as Tourism SEZ.
Lido Music & Arts Center, which is wholly owned by KPIG, is built on an area of 5 ha with an amphitheater concept, making it the largest outdoor music and arts festival venue in Indonesia. It is built to accommodate more than 50,000 visitors in one event, this venue can hold 4 events at the same time.
Lido Music & Arts Center will be the main destination for international music and arts festivals in Southeast Asia. Other than music and arts festivals, Lido Music & Arts Center can be utilized for other events such as sports festivals, shows and performances, cultural and social gatherings and others. Various supporting facilities are also prepared for the convenience and comfort of the visitors, such as retail & dining, as well as various transportation accesses.
The Company observes that until now, Indonesia still does not have any outdoor facilities for world-class international music and arts festivals, to accommodate events such as the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in California, America. Coachella is the largest and most famous music festival in the world, which during the show have drawn as many as 250,000 visitors from across the world.
