Board of Commissioners
The Board of Commissioners (BoC) consists of at least 3 (three) Commissioners, where one of them is appointed as President Commissioner and in the event that 2 (two) persons are appointed as Commissioners, one of them can therefore be appointed as Vice President Commissioner. The Board of Commissioners of the Company is appointed at the GMS for a period starting at the date stipulated in the respective GMS, continuing until the close of the 5th GMS there after as of the date of his/her appointment without prejudice to the rights of the GMS to dismiss the Company’s Board of Commissioners at any time before his/her term of office concludes and the GMS has the right to appoint the new Board of Commissioners to replace the dismissed Board of Commissioners. The Board of Commissioners can be re-elected in accordance with a GMS resolution.
Indonesian citizen, born in Jakarta in 1951.He has a degree in Computer Science and Accounting from the Royal Melbourne Information Technology, Australia in 1977.Mr. Amir Abdul Rachman was appointed as the President Commissioner through the decree of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of the Company dated May 31, 2013.
Since 2009 until today, he is the founder and Principal of One Star Productions, after previously having over 25 years experience with the Jan Darmadi Group as Chief Executive Officer, the Vice President Commissioner and various other important positions (1984-2009). In addition, he has also served as the Assistant Vice President of Asset Based Finance Division at Citibank NA, Jakarta(1981-1982), joined PT Wardley Summa Leasing as the Deputy COO (1982-1984), Co-Founder of Dipo Star Leasing(1984), Co-Founder and Commissioner of PT Pramindo Ikat Nusantara(1994-1997), Commissioner of PT Astratel Nusantara (1996-1997), Co-Founder and President Commissioner of PT Primasel (1996-2001), Principal PT Mobile Cellular Indonesia (1996-2005) and Commissioner of PT Bakrieland Hotels & Resort (2012-2013).
Indonesian citizen, born in Klaten 1947.He has a Police educational background, namely a graduate of the Police Academy (1968), Perguruan Tinggi Ilmu Kepolisian (1975) and the National Security Agency (LKN 2000). He also studied at the School for Police Staff Leaders (Sespimpol) in 1981 and the Command and Staff School (Sesko) of the Armed Forces in 1991 and the National Security Agency (Lemhanas) in 2000.Mr. Christ Soepontjo was appointed as Commissioner through the decree of the General Meeting of Shareholders of the Company on 31 May 2013.
Currently he is also entrusted to hold various strategic positions in the MNC Group, including the Commissioner of PT Bali Nirwana Resort (since 2013) and Independent Commissioner of PT MNC Securities (since 2009). Previously, he has served as Independent Commissioner of PT MNC Finance (2006-2009) and Commissioner of PTPN VII Lampung (2003-2008).
He began his career in the Indonesian National Police (POLRI) in 2002 after having a career in the police as the Deputy Governor of the Perguruan Tinggi Ilmu Kepolisian (1997), as the Police Chief of East Kalimantan (1998), Deputy Assistant Chief of Logistics of the National Police (1999), Assistant Chief of Logistics of the National Police (2000), and the Deputy Inspector General of the National Police(2001).
Indonesian citizen. Earned Doctorate Degree in Communication from Padjadjaran University Bandung in 2006-2011. Compeleted her Master in Communication Studies from the University of Indonesia in 2003. She also completed study in Social Welfare at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Indonesia during 1983-1990. Appointed as Independent Commissioner of the Company based on the decision of Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) on May 21, 2015. Has served as Member of the House of Representatives from Hanura Party (Commission I – Kominfo Defense, Foreign Affairs) during 2009-2014, Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Agency (BKSAP) and Bilateral Cooperation Group (GKSB) Indonesian Parliament and the Parliament of China. In 2009-2010, member of Commission III (Legal, Human Rights, Nation Police Force). Member of the House of Representatives from PDIP in 19992004. Leader of PDIP in 1999-2004 as Secretary of fraction, Member of Commission I (Politics, Foreign Affairs, National Police Force, Army, and Defense and Security). Member Of Commission IX, Commission VIII and Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Agency (BKSAP). Also active in social activities as a writer and observer in Political Communications, Intelligence, and Security Defense.
Indonesian citizen. She obtained an education in Informatics Management from SMIK-BINUS and Economics Management from STIE. She was appointed as Independent Commissioner by Decision of the Annual GMS on May 21, 2015. She previously held a variety of positions including President Director of PT MNC Asset Management since October 2014, Senior VP Main Branch Region East Jakarta, PT Maybank Indonesia (formerly PT Bank Internasional Indonesia Tbk/BII) from December 2002-December 2004. (Desember 2002 – Desember 2004).
